Candlewood Kraken defeat Sliders on Monday, 11-1. Candlewood Kraken captured the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the second after Danny Reid doubled to center field, Candlewood Kraken scored on a passed ball, and Connor Corcoran grounded out, each scoring one run. Candlewood Kraken added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after John John Coniglio grounded into a fielder’s choice, Zach Prahach doubled to center field, Peter Coniglio walked, and Lucas Kopp walked, each scoring one run.

Peter Coniglio started on the mound for Candlewood Kraken. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Henry Marino started on the hill for Sliders. The pitcher allowed five hits over three innings, striking out four and walking six. Candlewood Kraken piled up nine hits in the game. Jake Coniglio and Zach Prahach each collected two hits. Danny Reid, Peter Coniglio, Braydon Stellato, and Zach Prahach each drove in one run for Candlewood Kraken.
