Quote from Ken Schufelt:

“Honored is an understatement!! I’ve been playing this game for a long time and I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know one thing that the gentleman that I’ve had the pleasure to play with for all these years mean everything to me and if this is my last year it’s been one hell of a ride. To my family all the summers that you had to sacrifice and to come watch your dad play you’ll never know how much that means to me I cherish every memory. Thank you!! To my friends, all the baseball in the backyard the pick up games down at the field. Thank you for everything and for pushing me to be a better version of myself. I’d also like to thank the Amenia Monarchs and Connecticut Tri-State Baseball League. A special shout out to the league president Ed Gadomski thank you for all you do for the league. Last but not least my parents, mom dad we did it. ❤️ #2023 #HOF”
