The Burlington Hunters defeated the Valley Ducks 14-0 to secure their 16th win of the season.  16 Year Veteran Ty Morin and Dave Kerlejza, fresh off the 60 day IL for losing a fight with a wall, combine to throw a no hitter. In the top of the first the Hunters put up 7 runs and did not look back from there.  Andrew Bunger, George Zaruba, Zack Rinkavage, Tim Krol, and Steve Caruso all had 2-hit performances to help lead the way offensively.  Both teams are back in action Wednesday; The Hunters have a rematch against the Waterbury Mountain Boys, while the Ducks look to get back in the win column against the Canton Crushers.

Game Highlights: Tommaso Tollis finally played a full game without committing an error; Zack Martin attempted to dive for a foul pop up behind the plate and is still laying in the grass at Tyrrell Middle School; and finally the team was deeply disappointed when they discovered Justin McCulloch DID NOT bring Milk Duds for the entire team for the post game celebration as promised; sources suggest he wasn’t able to come through because he is still trying to learn how to access the team chat.
