Wolcott Scrappers 6   Bethlehem Plowboys 4

Carson Lentini’s rbi single with 2 out in the bottom of the 6th drove in the go ahead run (after a disputed interference call) during a 5 run rally, to lead the Wolcott Scrappers to a comeback 6-4 win over the Bethlehem Plowboys. Drew Rocca started the rally with a double and Aj Martinez followed with a single putting runners on the corners,. Ethan Stepputtis(rbi) and Devin Fuegen followed with singles to make it a 4-2 game and load the bases. Alex James ground ball turned into the disputed double play, scoring Martinez to make it 4-3  but Stepputtis was sent back to 3rd . Nick Sconziano then followed with a huge game tying rbi single with 2 out. Josh Dunne followed with a walk setting the stage for Lentini’s big hit scoring Sconziano.  Martinez, Sconziano and Fuegen each had 2 hits, with Fuegen homering in the 4th for the Scraps first run.  Blake Stone gutted out 4 innings and was followed by Alec Ash,  Mike McCormack and Stepputtis(save) with 3 shut out innings combined. Rocca, Stepputtis and Joe Sconziano all had web gems in the outfield for the Scrap.  James also threw out a runner at the plate to end the game.  For the Plow, Nate Cormier(rbi), Carsten Donavan, Jesse Swartout and Isaiah Johnson each had singles.
