Bethlehem Plowboys 3   Tri-Town Trojans 2  (10 innings)

It came down to the wire on Saturday, as the Bethlehem Plowboys grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 3-2, over Tri-Town Trojans. The game was tied at two in the bottom of the tenth when Isaiah Johnson singled, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. Bethlehem Plowboys pitchers struck out eight, while Tri-Town Trojans sat down five. Tri-Town Trojans opened the scoring in the fourth after Dustin Johnson hit into a double play, but one run scored. Jesse Swartout homered, which helped Bethlehem Plowboys tie the game at one in the bottom of the fourth. Bethlehem took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. Ryan Ponte singled, scoring one run, to give the Plowboys the upper hand, 2-1. Coleby Bunnell homered to center field on a full count, which helped Tri-Town Trojans tie the game at two in the top of the seventh.

Ty Boisvert opened the game for Bethlehem Plowboys. The hurler allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking two. Kyle Banche tossed three innings of zero-run ball for Bethlehem in relief. The right-handed pitcher allowed two hits, striking out none and walking none.  Miles Scribner toed the hill for Tri Town, throwing 9 strong innings, striking out 5 and only allowing 2 runs. Ponte and Brice Waldron each collected two hits for the Plow. Ponte, Swartout, and Johnson each drove in one run for Bethlehem Plowboys.  Bunnell, Johnson, and Willy Yahn each collected two hits for Tri-Town Trojans. Bunnell led Tri-Town with one run batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day.

Burlington Hunters 12  Naugatuck White Sox 0

The Burlington Hunters cap off the 2025 regular season with their 9th win in a row, defeating the Naugatuck White Sox 12-0.  Derek Duffy earned the win on the mound scattering 3 hits while striking out 7.  Offensively George Zaruba (2 RBI) , Ty Morin, and Andrew Bunger (3RBI) had multi-hit days.  Steve Caruso had a 3 hit game and also drove in 3 runs.  With the win the Hunters secure the 3 seed and wait to face either the Valley Kraken or the Winsted Whale in the Quarter Finals of the 2025 playoffs.
