Burlington Hunters 16  Valley Kraken 4

The Burlington Hunters win their 8th game in a row defeating the Valley Kraken 16-4. Tim Krol earned the win on the mound for the Hunters surrendering 4 runs on just 3 hits while striking out 6. For the Kraken, Ryan Bohrman went all 7 innings on the mound and was saddled with the loss. Alex Rauso had a career day hitting his 4th home run in the last 4 games, drove in 5 runs, and fell a single short of the cycle. Justin McCulloch had a multi-hit game including a 2-run home run to left. George Zaruba had a 3 hit game including 2 doubles and drove in 3 runs. Steve Caruso also had a 2 hit game with 2 doubles and managed to catch all the balls hit to him in center this time around. The Hunters close out the 2025 regular season this Saturday taking on the Naugatuck White Sox at home.

Game Highlights: At the age of 43 Justin McCulloch becomes the oldest player in Tri-State history to hit a home run (probably right?) and Alex Rauso, after hitting a 3 run home run and a triple right handed, thought it would be fun to try hitting left handed and responded with an RBI double.
