Bethlehem Plowboys 11 Valley Kraken 0
The bottom of the lineup helped the Bethlehem Plowboys capture an 11-0 victory over Valley Kraken on Tuesday at Plow . Jarrett Michaels, Brice Waldron, and Ryan Reynolds combined for six of the team’s 12 hits in the victory. They scored four runs and drove in four. Reynolds collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Reynolds singled in the third inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the fifth inning. Bethlehem got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Brett Davino grounded out, and Isaiah Johnson hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. The Plowboys added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Reynolds singled, Carsten Donovan hit a sacrifice fly, and Ryan Ponte doubled, each scoring one run. Bethlehem collected 12 hits in the game. Donovan, Matt Mancini, and Michaels each collected multiple hits for Bethlehem Plowboys. Bethlehem Plowboys stole four bases in the game Bethlehem Plowboys added two runs in the third after Reynolds singled. Kyle Banche earned the win for Bethlehem Plowboys. The righty allowed three hits and zero runs over 5 innings, striking out eight and walking none. Matt Sibilia fresh off the 15 day DL pitched a scoreless 6 to end the game. Aidan Kane, Jake Coniglio, and Kyle Bennett each collected one hit for Valley Kraken. Next up for Bethlehem is a game against the Winsted Whalers on Thursday.
Winsted Whalers 8 Torrington Thunder 0
The Whale and the Thunder faced off at Fuessenich park at a nice early time of 8:30pm Tuesday night. The Whale’s first run came from Ben Crone hitting a leadoff single in the top of the 2nd, Crone stealing second, and Peter Greenwood driving him in on a single. The Whale would continue to score here and there, including a bases clearing 3 RBI triple by Steele Brobston in the top of the 6th. The Whale would conclude the night with 8 runs scored. Mitchell Gryniuk went the distance, going 7 innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 walks, 0 runs and dishing a respectable 16 strikeouts. Of those 4 hits, Robert Anton (2-2, 2 singles, 1 walk) from the Thunder accounted for two of those hits, sending both hits to oppo right field. Winsted Whale 8, Torrington Thunder 0.

Burlington Hunters 7 Canton Crushers 4
The Burlington Hunters extended their winning streak to 7 in a row defeating the Canton Crushers 7-4 in the final game of the Tri-State Dunkin’ Park series. Ty Morin started on the mound and worked through a strong hitting Crusher lineup to earn the win. The Hunters started the first inning off with 4 runs including a 2-run double by George Zaruba and a 2-run home run by Alex Rauso, his third in as many games. In the top of the 4th Jake Bryant of Canton cleared the bases with a double to shrink the Hunter lead to 1. However, in the bottom of the 4th Justin McCulloch smacked a 3-run double to add some much needed insurance for the Hunters. Chad Lavelle had a multi-hit game including 2 doubles, and Josue Sway Lopez also had a 2-hit game. For Canton, Jimmy Spirito and Alec Varano each collected 2 hits and as a team the Crushers swiped 5 bags.
Game Highlights: Jeff Osak did his best Tim Krol and Taylor Donofrio impression and got picked off of first base; Steve Caruso blinded by the shade dropped a fly ball in center in the 7th to make the ending of the game a little more interesting; and Sway set a Tri-State record for longest single hit at 361 ft when he walked to first base thinking he had his second home run of the year.

Wolcott Scrappers jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Drew Rocca singled, scoring one run, Nick Sconziano drew a walk, scoring one run, Josh Dunne singled, scoring two runs, and Ryan Ciampi singled, scoring one run.
Aiden Bisallion earned the win for Wolcott Scrappers. The hurler gave up one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking one. Glover took the loss for CT Sliders. The starter went six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking four. Ben Bianchi collected the save. David Cardinale appeared in relief for Wolcott Scrappers. Dunne led Wolcott Scrappers with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The left-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Sconziano, Carson Lentini, Ethan Stepputtis, Dunne, Rocca, Devin Fuegen, and Ciampi each collected one hit for Wolcott Scrappers. Ian Glover pitched very well in defeat and Henry Marino, Josh Dobratz, Luke sokoski all had hits and produced runs
