The sliders entered the final frame down 2-1 down to their final out. Joe Dicrosta started the late rally with an infield single, followed by a stolen base and another infield single by Ej Quint, an errant throw allowed Dicrosta to come around and score.  Dobratz then took one for the team leaving the sliders with men on first and second. Pat Raymond hit a firm grounder to short and Dobratz in what was certainly a hustle play was able to beat the throw narrowly at second allowing quint to score the winning run.
