In game one of the Tri-State quarter finals, The Burlington Hunters beat the CT Sliders 2-1.  Ty Morin and Henry Marino would battle it out on the mound in a tight pitcher’s duel, both going 7 innings.  The Sliders would get the scoring started first in the top of the first.  Josh Dobratz led off the game with a single.  Eventually Dobratz would score on a fielders choice hit by Pat Raymond.  The Hunters would respond in the bottom of the inning with a George Zaruba RBI knock plating Chad Lavelle.  In the Bottom of the third Sean O’Donnell would score on a wild pitch.  That ended up being all the scoring needed for the Hunters thanks to Morin’s stellar outing scattering just 4 hits in 7 innings of work.  Taylor Donofrio would come in for the 6 out save to seal the game and give the Hunters a 1-0 series lead.
