Tri-Town Trojans 1 Valley Kraken 0
It was an extra inning affair between Trojans and Valley Kraken, where 1 run was the difference. Bobby Chatfield pitched for the Trojans, going six innings and striking out 8. Connor Gannon came in relief and absolutely shoved for 3 innings adding 4 Ks. On the other side Riley Corgan pitched all 9 innings for Valley, fanning 4 and allowing the lone run in the game. Trojans walked off in the ninth when Willy Yahn led off with a triple and then Danny McCarty scored him with a sac fly. – outstanding game!!!
Tri-Town Trojans 10 Torrington Thunder 0
Miles Scribner got another win in his storied Tri State career. He went 5 innings, giving up 1 hit and striking out 8 batters. Aidan Donohue came in relief and followed suit pitching 2 innings, adding 2 Ks. Trojans hit barrage was led by Casey McDonald who went 4-5 with a 3 run home run. Bryon Carr added 3 hits and 3 RBIs. Yahn, McCarty, M. Troy each added multiple hits in the win. The lone hit for the Thunder went to Kyle Green.
Valley Ducks 8 Valley Kraken 4
The Valley Ducks beat New Milford 8-4 in Saturdays action. Kyle Daddona tossed a complete game allowing 5 hits and only 1 earned. He also fanned 8. Every Duck player notched a hit today, including Tyler Leopizzo who went 3-5 with 3 RBI. It was his first multi hit game of his tri state career. Steve Harrison also had a few knocks and a highlight play at second that helped the Ducks hold an important lead. Will Granata threw 4-1/3 allowing 5 earned for the Kraken. He also hit a 2 run double.

Against Wolcott, it was a scoreless game when Canton catcher Noah Asmar ripped a two-out double to centerfield in the fifth inning with teammate Jack Rose moving from first base to third base. Jeff Mulhall singled to left field allowing Rose to score for a 1-0 lead. Canton (2-4) extended the lead in the sixth inning. Angel Valentin singled to center field but was thrown out trying to race to third base on Brandon Spaldolino’s single to right field. Spaldolino moved to second base on the throw to third base. Spaldolino, who was 2-for-3 at the plate, scored on Steve Dubois’ two-out double to center field for a 2-0 lead and Dubois scored on Jim Spirito’s single to left field for a 3-0 advantage.
Wolcott picked up a run with a two-out ground ball but Valentin got the final batter to ground out to second base to secure the win. Valentin (1-1) picked up his first Tri-State win with the Crushers with a complete game performance. He allowed just three hits, walked one and struck out six in seven innings of work.
Bethlehem Plowboys 11 Naugatuck Scorpions 0
Plowboys stung the Scorpions on Saturday morning in Bethlehem with a hit barrage of their own. Kyle Banche took the hill for the Plow throwing 5 innings allowing 3 hits and striking out 8. Ricky Descoteaux, Jon Wilson, and Joe Rupe all had 3 hits and a combined 9 RBI while Isaiah Johnson added a pair himself. Brett Wilkes closed out the last two innings for Bethlehem allowing no hits and striking out 4.
