The Hunters bring their winning streak to 4 games thanks to a thrilling walk-off victory over the Valley Ducks, 5-4. The Hunters got out to an early 4-0 lead thanks to Zack Martin who was 3/3 on the day. Ty Morin got the start on the mound going 4 innings, but ran into some trouble thanks to key RBI hits from Ducks left fielder, Tyler Leopizzo in the 4th inning, and Ducks pitcher, Zach Royka, who drove in 2 runs to tie the game in the 5th with a loud double.
Alex “Cobb” Hansen would come into a first and third jam in the top of the 5th with no outs and work his way out of trouble without surrendering the go-ahead run. In the bottom of the 7th George Zaruba would double for the Hunters, and two batters later, Lorenzo Rosado would single to drive in the go-ahead run to seal the victory for the Hunters.
Game highlights include: Andrew Bunger did his best to lose the game for the Hunters by going 0-4 in 4 key situations lowering his Clutch rating 20 points, Zack Martin pimped a foul ball home run, Jason Pelletier forgot how to coach third base, costing the Hunters a run, and was docked in the parking lot, and finally Ducks pitcher Ty Pelletier confused Hunter hitters with his Cortes like delivery and perfectly grown mustache.
