Taylor Riley took the hill for Canton pitching 8 solid innings giving up 5 hits and striking out 6. Riley and Jimmy Spirito both had multiple hits for Canton. Kyle hit a long double to center field for the Twisters.

Valley Thunder Ducks 10 Torrington Rebels 0

The valley Ducks beat the Rebels 10-0 Behind the amazing pitching by Ryan Pelletier 1 hit 16 strike out outing! The Ducks are back to a .500 record.  Terryville Black Sox 8 Blasius Chevrolet 1 Andrew Hinckley remains hotter than a habanero hammering his 4th home run in five games while driving in 3 runs.  Tony Patane and Justin McCulloch each added 2 doubles and an RBI to help lead the offense.  Kody Kerski picked up the win on the mound going 7 strong innings, striking out 13 while allowing 2 hits and 1 walk before giving way to older brother Kenny to pitch the final 2 frames.  Eric Rovinetti and Julio Rodriguez led the offense for Blasius.  The Sox improve to 5-0 on the season.

Southington 66ers 15 Burlington Hunters 7

Southington was led by Pat Smith (3-4 2B), Vic Desimone (3-4), Tyler fernandes (3-4 2B) and Pat Reymond, Nick Yousefzadeh, MattHochberg added two hits each to the Southington slugfest. Carm Perugini added a triple.Mike the fireballer Fernandes pitched two shutout innings in relief and Jordan Carrera pitched a shutout ninth. Ryan Raponey and Ty Morin singled and each scored two runs for Burlington. The hot 66ers play the Black Sox on Thursday evening.
