Terryville Black Sox 4 Canton Crushers 2
The Canton Crushers had the reigning Tri-State league champ Black Sox on the ropes with a 1-0 lead heading into the bottom of the 5th. Andrew “UPS Honk” Hinckley stayed red hot blasting a 2 run home run in the bottom of the inning. The Sox manufactured 2 more in the 6th to take a 4-1 lead heading into the 7th. The crushers were not ready to quit, loading the bases with no outs and pushing 1 run across before Kody Kerski came in to lock the door. Hinckley finished with a double, HR and 2 RBI. Sean Bahre had 2 hits for Canton while Taylor Riley was the hard luck loser on the mound pitching a great game for the crushers.
Valley Thunder Ducks 14 Torrington Rebels 2
After a tough loss to Southington the Valley (thunder) Ducks are back to .500! Starting pitcher for the Ducks couldn’t find the strike zone so they needed a change. The Ducks brought in Angel Valentin and settled everything down going the final 5 innings allowing no runs striking out 5 and allowing only 2 hits! Donny Eck for the Ducks led the charge going 2-4 with a rbi and 3 runs scored. Bethen and Yanick for the Rebels got the lone 2 hits for the Rebels.

Amenia Monarchs 4 Bethlehem Plowboys 2
On an absolutely perfect night for baseball the Amenia Monarchs came away with a 4-2 win over Bethlehem. The fans came out to watch the local boys get back on there beloved Doc Bartlett field after a year layoff and they were treated to a great game of baseball. A Pitchers/defensive duel was the story of the night as both teams had great outings in both. For Amenia Mike Cipriano picked up his first Tri-State win going 5 innings, giving up just 2 runs on 8 hits with 2k’s. Ethan Lounsbury shut it out for the Monarchs pitching a hitless 6th and 7th with 3k’s. For Bethlehem Justin Kutrous pitched well for the Plowboys going 5 innings, scattering 6 hits giving up 4 runs. Monarchs were led by Andrew Thrasher going 2 for 3 with an RBI while the Plowboys Ian Schmidt was 3 for 4 and Drew Calovecchio had 2 hits and 2 RBI.
Wolcott Scrappers 12 Southington 66ers 9
Wolcott got on the board right away in the 1st inning after 3 walks in a row then 2nd baseman Joe Matthews belted a Dble to left field to clear the bases . Wolcott was lead by matthews with 2 dbles and 4 RBIs, Jack Drewry with a 2RBI homerun and singles and rbi each by Nolan cloutier and steve Urbanski. Southington was led but Nick Y with 2 hits and an RBI , Tyler Fernandes with a single and a Dble and 1 rbi and Brenden C with 2 dbles and 2 RBI’s.
