The Black Sox bats finally woke up pounding out 18 hits including 2 home runs. Ageless wonder Justin McCulloch continued his red-hot start with 3 hits and 2 RBIs, Gavin Lavallee chipped in a home run and 5 RBI and Ian Schmidt a 2-run home run. Matt Radke also had 2 singles for the Sox. On the mound, Billy Armstrong and Andrew Hinckley combined to scatter 3 hits and strike out 12. Jimmy Lamana had 2 hits including a home run for Torrington.

Wolcott scrappers defeated southington 66rs 7-3 Thursday night at Rec park. Brenden Clark had 2 dbles with 4 rbi and Tyler Smith dbled and homered with 2 rbi to lead Wolcott . Jack Drewry singled and walked 4 times and had 2 runs scored . Tyler Smith got the win in relief . For southington Carmen Perugini dbled amd Cj Vasquez had 2 singles .
