Kody Kerski hurls Gem
The Rain held off for the boys in Black Sox Thursday night at Old Terryville High School. Led by Kody Kerski CG 12K’s who lost a perfect game in the 7th with one out on a walk, Terryville defeated Blasius 5-0. The Black Sox jumped on the board in the first with a three run shot from Gavin Lavallee. Tony Patane doubled and scored twice, while Justin McColluch singled twice. Tim Kennedy threw two innings of one run ball in relief for Blasius. Terryville will travel to Southington Sunday to take on The 66ers. Terryville improves to 2-1 while Blasius falls to 1-1.
All other games on Thursday May 30 were cancelled. Torrington/Amenia game rained out in bottom of second inning. Per MLB (Tri-state) rules game does not count and will be restarted from scratch.
