Tri-Town Trojans 2 Terryville Black Sox 1 (9 innings)
The storms parted and the skies opened up for fans to witness a phenomenal pitching dual. Miles Scribner and Cody Kerski both went 9 innings in this extra inning affair, with Scribner coming out on top. Terryville went up in the top of 7th on an Andrew Hinckley Homerun that landed in the road. The Trojans tied it up in the 7th on an RBI single by none other than Miles Scribner, scoring Steve Price. In the bottom of the ninth Sam Shurberg hit a towering triple with one out. Shurberg then scored on a passed ball to get the win for the Trojans in walk off fashion. Scribner struck out 8, giving up 4 hits, and 1 run while Kerski struck out 13, giving up 3 hits and allowing 2 runs. Congratulations to Miles Scribner for earning his 100th win as a Tri-Town Trojan!!! Miles Scribner certainly is one of the all-time Tri-State League leaders in wins, innings, and strikeouts in both regular season and post-season play.

Justin Taylor threw a complete game with 7 strikeouts and allowed just one earned run. Teddy Gravel and Kevin McDonald made there season debuts with two hits apiece to power Bethlehem to the win. Don Alamo had two hits and an RBI for Valley Thunder.
Southington 66ers 3 Canton Crushers 0
The Southington 66ers edged the Canton Crushers 3-0 tonight at Recreation Park in Southington. Alex Stackpole and Patrick Raymond tossed a combined one-hit shutout with seven strikeouts for the 66ers to outduel Jim Spirito of Canton who allowed only four hits. Vic DeSimone had a solo home run and Nick Yousefzadeh, Bryan Webster, and CJ Vasquez had base hits for the 66ers. Spirito had Canton’s hit.
Naugatuck Dogs 3 Bristol Greeners 1
Kevin Murray and Adam Neveski combined to pitch a complete game allowing one run on 5 hits while striking out 9 to lead Naugy to a 3-1 victory over Bristol at Rotary Field. The Dogs got on the board in the 3rd inning with a Kyle Murphy RBI triple and a Ryan Plourde RBI double. Plourde also added an RBI single in the 5th. Jerry Lapenta had 2 hits and pitched a complete game for Bristol.
