Bristol Greeners 2 Torrington Rebels 1
The Bristol Greeners defeated the Torrington Rebels 2-1 in a close game 7/11/18. The Rebels took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning on a triple by Jake Naruenson. The Bristol Greeners scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning on a single by Ben Mazzone to make it 2-1. For the Rebels Francis Rodriguez pitched 5 strong innings giving up 2 runs on 2 hits. For the Greeners Ben Mazzone pitched 6 strong innings giving up 1 earned run and 3 hits, Mazzone also had 7 strikeouts. In the top of the 7th for the Greeners Brad Burney came in to close and shut down the rebels with 3 strikeouts. Ben Mazzone is the pitcher credited with the win and Francis Rodriguez is the pitcher credited with the loss

Blasius Chevrolet 16 Bethlehem Plowboys 4
Gary Novakowski threw a complete game 7 innings with 5 strikeouts and 3 earned runs. Blasius was led offensively by Colby Linnell going 4-5 with a double and Steve Carosella snagging three hits. Mike Chiovitti added a 2 run home run for Bethlehem in the first. Blasius plays Burlington Thursday at the Hotch. As always we would like to thank your sponsor for their support.

The Black Sox jumped on the Cowboys with 8 runs in the first inning lead by Tony Patane, Kyle Tehan, Kyle Skidmore, and Matt Radke all with RBI’s. Kody Kerski threw 3 scoreless innings of one hit ball. Drew Gauvain was 3-4 for Litchfield.
