Winsted scored three runs in the 1st inning with RBI singles from Ben Schumacher and Charlie Putnam. Johnny Lippincott had two hits and score a run. Schumacher pitched a complete game striking out ten and walking only two. He scattering five hits. Joey Serafin pitched six innings striking out seven for Blasius Chevrolet.

Cowboys take the W over TriBury 4-2. Cowboys were lead by winning pitcher Dan Hedden who threw 6 innings giving up two runs. Drew Gauvain, Colin Dickinson and Mike Odenwaelder led the hitting for the Cowboys.

Kenny Kerski tossed a complete game shutout while striking out 12. Pat Mulcahy had 2 hits and a run scored on a game winning double by Billy Armstrong to back Kerski’d gem. Mike Milius had 3 hits for Bethelehem.
Canton Crusher 8 Bristol Greeners 4
Canton Crushers Beat the Bristol Greeners 8-4 Sunday afternoon. Veteran Canton Pitcher Jimmy Spirito picked up the win going 7 innings scattering 8 hits and allowing 3 runs. Canton had a good day at the plate; Taylor Riley was 3-5 with a double and 4 RBI, Chris Vandebogart and Jake Bryant had 3 hits for Canton. Taylor Landry, Sean Bahre and Heath Cotton all had RBIs. AJ Lorenzietti took the loss for Bristol despite striking out 8. Nicoletti, Roberge and Cyr all had 2 hits for Bristol.

Jesse Vermeech picked up the win allowing six hits and striking out seven. Matt Cyr and Matt Corcoran had two hits and two RBI apiece while Matt Warren had three hits and two RBI. Brian O’Leary had an RBI single for Burlington.
Watertown Blaze 6 Tri-Town Trojans 2
The Blaze won their 16th game in a row 6-2 over the Tri-Town Trojans. Zach Albin picked up the win going 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, before giving way to Matt Quintana who struck out the side in the 7th. Chris Callahan led the Blaze offense with 4 hits and 2 RBI while Conor McEvoy added 3 hits and an RBI. James Cramphin doubled for Tri-Town.
Naugatuck Dogs 3 Amenia Monarchs 1
Kevin Murray pitched a complete game allowing 1 earned run on 8 hits while striking out 7 to lead Naugy to a 3-1 victory over Amenia at Rotary Field. The Dogs got on the board in the 4th inning with a Jeff Rustico RBI ground out and the next batter Ryan Russell delivered a 2 out 2 RBI single. Will Perotti had an RBI single for Amenia.
Southington 66ers 12 Torrington Rebels 2
The Southington 66ers rode the strong arm and bat of Brian Boerner and strong supporting offense to defeat the Torrington Rebels 12 – 2 at Recreation Park in Southington. Boerner scattered five hits from the mound and contributed four hits at the plate including a solo home run. Tim Jalbert and Matt Santovasi each had three hits and three RBIs, Pat Smith two hits and three RBI, Matt Dell’Agnese two hits and an RBI, and Patrick Raymond, Connor Crean, and John Mikalopas added singles for the 66ers, while the outfield of Jalbert who threw out a runner at third, Dell’Agnese who robbed Torrington of a home run by hauling in a ball from beyond the fence, and Santovasi with a long-running sliding catch in foul territory turned in defensive gems. For Torrington, Mike Toscano had two hits including a solo home run, Roberto Santiago doubled, Chris McKenna singled and had an RBI sacrifice fly, and Austin Patenaude doubled.
Watertown Blaze 8 Valley Thunder 1
Tony Patane hit 2 solo home runs to lead the Blaze to an 8-1 victory over the Valley Thunder. Chris Callahan and Nick DeLotto each added 2 hits. On the mound, 5 Blaze pitchers combined to strike out 13 and walk 0 while scattering 4 hits. Spencer Griffin homered for Valley.
Naugatuck Dogs 8 Waterbury Cougars 0
Bryan Wyrebek pitched 5 innings allowing 2 hits while striking out 4 to earn the win for Naugy over East Mountain 8-0 at Rotary Field. The Dogs were led by Ryan Plourde and Sean Miller-Jones who each had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Kyle Murphy and Ryan Russell each added two hits including a double for Naugy. Anthony and Johnny each singled for East Mountain.
