Watertown Blaze 11 Bethlehem Plowboys 2
Steve Consiglio took the mound for the Watertown Blaze in game 1 of the tri state semi finals against the Bethlehem Plowboys. Consiglio in his second start of the season went 8 innings, scattering 8 hits and allowing 1 earned run on the way to an 11-2 victory. Tony Patane led the offense with 5 hits including a solo home run, Garrett De Lotto added a 3 run home run. Ted Gravel and Pat McGee had 2 hits each for Bethlehem.

The Watertown Blaze advance to the Tri State World Series beginning Monday August 15 behind a great pitching performance by Kyle Kennedy. Kennedy threw a complete game scattering 5 hits while striking out 8 on 3 days rest from the Stan Musial World Series. Chris Comeau had 3 hits and an RBI and Nick De Lotto added a hit and 2 RBI.
