Valley Thunder 4 Thomaston Threshers 2
The valley thunder defeated the thomaston thrashers 4-2 behind a solid pitching performance of Tyler pelitier going the distance allowing 7 hits striking out 4 walking 3 and allowing 2 runs. The thunder were lead by Isaiah Likely going 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored. John Gallow for the thrasher’s also went the distance allowing 8 hits striking out 7 walking 3 allowing 4 runs. The Thrashers got runners on at third and second with 2 outs in the bottom of the last inning, the thunder decided to walk the bases loaded and Tyler struck out the final batter for the win.
Bethlehem Plowboys 4 Tribury Twisters 2
Tyler Erickson complete game win. Pitched 8 shut out innings after giving up two runs in the first. Aaron Granahan with a go ahead two run single to put Bethlehem ahead in the 7th.
Watertown Blaze 15 Winsted Whalers 1
The Watertown Blaze (15-0) bats remained on fire Sunday afternoon, pounding 27 hits on the way to a 10-1 victory over the Winsted Whalers. Chris Ayer (4 hits, 6 RBI), Matt Calzone (4 hits, 2 RBI), Matt Paola (3 hits, 4 RBI) and Nick De Lotto (3 hits, 1 RBI) led the offense. Kyle Kennedy picked up the win on mound going 5 innings allowing 4 hits and striking out 3. Brooks Belter and Steve Consiglio threw well in relief allowing 1 run and striking out 6.
Austin Brochu had 2 hits for the Whalers.
Torrington Rebels 4 Burlington Hunters 0
Dan Livingston pitched another complete game shutout to lead the Rebels over the Hunters 4-0. Livingston and Burlington starter Alex Stackpole went scoreless until the 6th inning when the Rebels rallied for two runs behind a Roberto Santiago single. Lenyn Napoleon, Jake Narvesen, Ciro Rosario, Chris McKenna and Austin Patenaude all had a hits for the Rebels. The Rebels improved to 9-4 on the season.

In a crisp well played nine inning game in under two hours Travis Hyatt bested Jimmy Spirito at Bowdoin Field Sunday afternoon. Tom Downey homered in the first inning and that was all Hyatt needed in the complete game victory. Dylan Sartori drove in the other run for the Monarchs in the third. Jake Byrant had two hits for Canton and both teams played errorless on defense.
Naugatuck Dogs 12 Brass City Brew 6
The Dogs were led by Devin Murphy who went 2-4 with a three run home run and Kyle Murphy who went 3-4 with 3 RBI. Ryan Plourde added 3 hits with 2 RBI, Jeff Rustico had 3 hits, and George Harlamon had 2 hits with 3 RBI for Naugy. Lou Serrano had two hits including a solo home run and Angel Bautista had a 3 RBI double for Brass City. Jeff Sturm picked up the win for the Dogs pitching a complete game.
Wolcott Scrappers 8 Litchfield Cowboys 1
Zach Sehnal went the distance allowing eight hits, one run and striking out eleven. Ryan Soucy had three hits and two RBI. Eric Soucy added a single, double and scored a run. TJ Williams and Clete Lorusso each singled and scored twice. Ed Pequinot doubled for Litchfield. Wolcott improves to 11-3, Litchfield falls to 8-6.

Litchfield Cowboys 9 Southington 66ers 1
Cowboys win over southington 9-1. Dustyn Marfyak threw a complete game scattering 8 hits over 7 innings. The Cowboys were lead by Steve Harrison who had a 3 run homer and Drew Gauvain who added a 2 run home run as well. Chad Dickinson and Colin Dickinson also added hits. Cowboys advance to 8-5 on the season.
