At “Doc” Bartlett field in Amenia the Monarchs defeated the Cougars 4 – 0 Tuesday night. Matt Hosier’s 2 RBI double in the first inning as all Zach Spencer needed to pick up the complete game victory. Spencer allowed only3 hits, no walks, while striking out 16. Calub Huff had 2 hits for Amenia. Dylan Oaks doubled for East Mountain.
Naugatuck Dogs 10 Bristol Greeners 0Adam Neveski picked up the win pitching 5 innings allowing four hits and one walk while striking out 6 to lead Naugy to a 10-0 victory over Bristol at Rotary Field. The Dogs were led by Kyle Murphy who went 2-2 with a HR, 3 RBI, and 2 BBs. Ryan Russell went 2-3 with 2 RBI and George Harlamon was 1-3 with 3 RBI for Naugy. Eric Thernan doubled for Bristol.
