Winsted 3, Lakeville 1: Adam Piechowski complete game four hitter with seven k’s. Winsted first run scored in second inning: Derwitsch single and advanced to third after two passed balls. Brochu had an RBI ground out.  5th two out two run single by Putnam. Lakeville great pitching from Roe holding Winsted to four hits. Scored run on a sac fly by Considine in third inning.
Terryville 6, Thomaston 1: Billy Armstrong threw 6inn 7k 1ER 6hits to lead the way with support from Joe Deming and his 2rbi single in the first. Marshal szyndlar had 2 hits with a SB n run scored. Thomaston had runners on 2nd and 3rd with nobody out in the btm 2nd, when armstrong then struck out 3 batters in a row to escape the threat. Thomaston never threatened again. Bailiur pitch 5 strong innings giving up 2ER with 3ks. Eric Baba chipped in with 2hits for thomaston.
