Litchfield Cowboys 8 Amenia Monarchs 0
In Tri-State baseball action, the Litchfield Cowboys wrapped up two wins Sunday to push their record to 7-0 this year. The Cowboys roughed up the Amenia Monarchs 8-0 in the day’s latter game, tallying six runs in the final four innings. Chris Blazek paved the way for the Cowboys, going 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and two runs scored. Kyle Hawef kept Amenia scoreless on the day. He gave up four hits, walked two, and had three strikeouts in seven innings. Chris Beach was 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored. Jim Robertson and Caleb Huff both singled for Amenia.
Litchfield Cowboys 10 Bethlehem Plowboys 3 (10 innings):
Finishing up a game that was called due to darkness on June 2, the Cowboys polished off Bethlehem with a seven-run tenth inning. Eddie Pequingnot got the scoring started in the tenth with a run-scoring single. The Cowboys scored on an error, Chris Beach hit a two-run single, then Chris Blazek bashed a two-run double to put the game out of reach. Blazek was also the winning pitcher. Kevin Murray started on the mound for Litchfield and went seven innings and struck out five. Adam Claire had two hits, a run scored and two RBI. Rob Geraci had two hits and a run scored and Eric O’Toole singled for Bethlehem.
Wolcott Scrappers 2 Bristol Greeners 0
Justin Koutros threw a complete-game two-hitter to lift Wolcott over Bristol 2-0 on Sunday in Wolcott. Koutros struck out seven in the game. Wolcott’s Jason Miller had a pair of doubles, Ryan Andrade had an RBI, and Eric and Ryan Soucy each had a hit and run scored.
Bethlehem Plowboys 1 Watertown Blaze 0
Bethlehem snagged the lone run in this one in the first inning, and Jason Krajeski kept Watertown off the scoreboard in a complete-game effort. Aaron Granahan had two hits and an RBI for the Plowboys, and Kevin Pettit had two hits. Tyler King, who pitched a complete game, was the losing pitcher for Watertown.
Waterbury Wild 1 Terryville Black Sox 0
Nick Boucher pitched a complete-game shutout for Waterbury, throwing 11 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Terryville. Jack Dibiase singled and scored the winning run after stealing home in the bottom of the eighth frame. In eight innings, Terryville’s Billy Armstrong threw 12 strikeouts and allowed six hits.
Naugatuck Dogs 3 Torrington Rebels 1
Macky Cianciolo broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the ninth inning with a two run home run as the Dogs defeated the Rebels at Fuessenich Park. Jamie Kimberly and Lance Stevens combined to throw a five-hitter while Ken Graveline and Matt Kane both had two hits for Naugatuck (5-2). Curtis Anthony had two hits for Torrinton.

Ken Martinik, Justin Cherri, and Ramon Santiago combined on the shutout for Thomaston.
Brass City Brew 10 Lakeville Outlaws 3
Brass City jumped out to a 3-0 lead after 1 innning of play at Waterville Park Sunday night. Justin McCulloch hit an rbi double and Marc DiDominzio had an 2rbi single. Lakeville closed to 2-3 in the top of the second, on back to back rbi singles from Rob Jacobs and Chris Lambert. That would be as close as the game would get. Brass City would add a 7 more runs spread out over the rest of the game, while the Brew Eric Gormley would settle in to shut down the Outlaws. Mike Padovani ending Brass City’s scoring in the bottom of the seventh with a 2 rbi double.
Tri-Town Trojans 14 Burlington Hunters 1
Miles Scribner threw a complete game 2-hitter and Casey McDonald and Landon Gardella each doubled for the winners. Justin Campbell doubled for Burlington.
