Tribury Pavers 5, Torrington Rebels 3: Eric Villanova had four hits and a run scored while Dan Perez added two hits and two runs scored for the Pavers on Wednesday night. Alex Maki allowed seven hits and only one earned run with six strikeouts for the winners (2-3). Jerry Colon had two hits and one RBI, and Dave Alexander had a double and an RBI for Torrington (3-3).
Bristol Greeners 5, Terryville Black Sox 0: Bristol improved to 4-1 on the season with a 5-0 win over the Blacksox. The game was scoreless going into the bottom of the fifth when Doug Beaudoin (2-4) hit an RBI-double into left-center scoring Bobby Hay who had led the inning off with a single. Geoff Pierce pitched a complete game three-hitter for the Greeners, allowing just three hits and striking out six to pick up his second victory of the season. The Greeners combined for five stolen bases, three of which came in a 4-run sixth inning (Zammett, Dudzinski, Cassanova (2), B. Hay). Dudzinski and Cassanova each had multi-hit games for the Greeners. For the Blacksox, Tyler Wenz went the distance, walking just two batters and striking out eight. Terryville had hits from Dan Baccare, George Newsome, and Baldega.

Doubleheader at Muzzy Field: Rained out
