There will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Chris Caron’s family with all proceeds going to the Alexa and Adam scholarship fund… The dinner will be Friday night June 18th at the Franco-American Club in Bristol from 5:30-8:30pm. Tri-Town Trojans 13, Bristol Greeners 4: Miles Scribner (3 hits, 3 strikeouts, 1 walk) shut out the Greeners for five innings while his teammates bombed Bristol’s pitching in a Tri-State Baseball game at Muzzy Field Tuesday evening. Troy Kobylarz hit a solo homer in the second inning; Steve Price (2-for-5, RBI, 2 runs) had a triple. Casey McDonald, Jon Smart and Greg Bodnar all doubled, while Dan McCarty (2-for-5, 2 RBI) and Nick Lahoud (2-for-5, 3 RBI, 2 runs) added to the damage. Brady Stouffer (2-for-3, RBI, run) and Mike Zammett (2-for-3, run) were Bristol’s big hitters. Tri-Town improves to 2-1 on the season.
Bristol Greeners 3, Amenia Monarchs 0: For Bristol, Brady Stouffer went the distance allowing just 2-hits and striking out 12. Stouffer was also 3-3 at the plate with a run scored. Dan Rosa had a 2-RBI double and Doug Beaudoin had an RBI single. Amenia had hits from Steve Lynan and Ken Shufault. Brody Foutaine and Jim Pomiesl pitched well for Amenia. Bristol improves to 2-1 on the season while Amenia falls to 2-1.
