NOTE: After a lengthy discussion, I would like to thank the team managers I spoke with for taking a gentlemens’ approach to deciding against forcing the completion of this game. (Winsted, Litchfield, Tri-Town, Tribury, Bethlehem) were all in agreement to allow the "tie" or "1/2 point win" taking into consideration the time constraint of the week, the poor weather on tap for the next few days, and the inconvenience of forcing players to make a showing to finish the game. All managers stated "You have to play someone anyway"… This is why I love running this league. We play competitively but we are not cut-throat with each other. Tribury will be the #8 seed, Tri-Town #9 seed, Litchfield #10 seed (who will play Winsted #7 seed). It is the correct decision, the fair decision, and the gentlemens’ decision. Tribury and Tri-Town will play on a nuetral field this Saturday and Tribury has agreed to allow Tri-Town to be the home team for this game. Everyone has given a little to make this work and for that I am grateful and proud. Good luck to all in the playoffs!
