Mazda Dodge 4, Bethlehem 3
DJ Dyer tossed a complete game striking out 5, walking 2, and scattering 6 hits as Mazda Dodge handed Bethlehem their first loss of the season. Mazda Dodge took a 4-2 lead after four innings then held off a late rally by Bethlehem for the victory. Brian O’Leary had two hits, Scott Bellemare RBI single, and Derrick Lemay had an RBI double for the Red Devils who jumped out early on Bethlehem starter Dan Goscinski. Jordan Gomes added an RBI single in the fourth inning that proved to be the game winner. The Plowboys rallied in the seventh behind Mike Johnston who drew Bethlehem to within one run with an RBI double and tried to score on a single by Eric O’Toole but the Red Devils’ Chris Ayer threw Johnston out at the plate from left field to end the game.
Tribury 2, Tri-Town 2 (Suspended)
In a game called after 7 innings due to darkness, the Pavers and Trojans played to a 2-2 tie in a game that will be finished at a future date. Danny McCarty had 2 hits and an RBI while Wayne Brewington tossed the complete game for Tri-Town. Andrew Conlan knocked in the tying run while Eric Peck and John Sharkey split the game on the mound for Tribury.
