Brass City 7, Bristol 2
Sean Keegan took a no-hitter into the sixth inning striking out 8 in the meantime and Justin McCulloch collected two hits, drove in a run and scored three times to lead Brass City over Bristol. Paul Novakowski singled, doubled and drove in two runs, Mike Padavoni went 1-for-3 with 3 RBI and Steve Carosella had two hits for the Brew. Chris Klepps was 1-for-3 and drove in a run for the Greeners.
Litchfield 8, Terryville 4
Dylan Stiles and Kyle Weaver each had two hits and drove in 3 runs while Chris Beach added a two-run single for the Cowboys. Leland McKenna and Mark Pisino each had a double for Litchfield who scored four runs in the second inning and three runs in the third inning. Matt Gardiner went 3-for-3 with a double to lead the Black Sox. Terryville took a 2-0 lead after a half inning and added single runs in the third and fifth innings.
Bristol 6, Naugatuck 1
The Greeners picked up their first win in Tri-State taking the nightcap game by a 6-1 final as Brandon Hayes went the distance allowing just five hits and striking out six. Ryan Klepps collected the go ahead 2-RBI single in the bottom of the fourth while Ryan Dudzinski and Chris Klepps each had two hits and two RBI.
